Clery Act Crimes Definitions of Reportable Crimes

Aggravated Assault -被定义为一个人对另一个人的非法攻击，目的是造成严重或加重的身体伤害. 这种类型的攻击通常伴随着使用武器或可能造成死亡或严重身体伤害的手段.

Arson – any willful or malicious burning or attempt to burn, with or without intent to defraud, a dwelling house, public building, motor vehicle or aircraft, personal property of another, etc.

Burglary – is the unlawful entry of a structure to commit a felony or a theft.

Destruction/Damage/Vandalism or Property (except Arson) – to willfully or maliciously destroy, damage, deface, 或者未经所有者或保管或控制该财产的人的同意，以其他方式损害实物或个人财产.

Forcible Sex Offenses – is defined as any sexual act directed against another person, forcibly and/or against that person’s will; or not forcibly or against the person’s will where the victim is incapable of giving consent, including: forcible rape, forcible sodomy, sexual assault with an object, forcible fondling.

Non-forcible Sex Offense – unlawful, non-forcible sexual intercourse, including incest and statutory rape.

Categories of Prejudice

Daily Crime Log

Crime Rates

Crime rates are indicators of reported crime activity standardized by population. 为了便于比较，它们是比成交量数字更精确的指标. 统一犯罪报告(UCR)项目提供了三种类型的犯罪率:犯罪率, arrest rates and clearance rates.

An offense rate, defined as the number of offenses per 100,000 population, is derived by first dividing a jurisdiction’s population by 100,000 and then dividing the number of offenses by the resulting figure.
